Hello! I chose the hotel after reading reviews online and a personal recommendation from friends. I must say that I was not wrong, I chose an amazing, excellent, clean, quiet, romantic hotel in an amazing location, very close to all the attractions in the city. Very close to the river, the restaurant and bar area, to Conissala Street. And in particular, very close to the carnival parade. After many years of staying in dozens of hotels around the world, the Hotel de Medici is one of the best, clean, luxurious, quiet and romantic hotels I have stayed in. Beyond all this, the value for money is excellent. The price is fair and very reasonable for the carnival period. The staff at the amazing hotel is helpful and very kind and polite. I recommend the hotel with all my heart. Thank you and have a wonderful day!🌺

This a very nice hotel. The room was large and comfortable. There was a dressing table (yay!). The only thing was that there was no table and chairs to eat breakfast at together in the room. One of us had to use the desk and the other the dressing table. The room service breakfast was delivered on time and the order was accurate, although the portion-size varied day to day. The food was delicious (all except the coffee!) but it was very expensive. The lobby was open and spacious and I imagine that the terrace in the courtyard would be nice for a drink in the summer. The corridors were very long but there was a lot of art to look at on the way to the room.

Staff: Friendly, polite and helpful. They are also very attentive during breakfast. The evening bar manager (with a nice moustache) was very friendly and made us feel welcome at the location. Room: Spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower has good water pressure and is also spacious. Hotel: Beautifully decorated and clean. They offer valet parking service. The breakfast is excellent with a great variety of foods and fresh fruits.

The building itself is of course amazing, the corridors are very beautiful and full of art and there's a lot to see. The whole atmosphere of the old, special building is great! The staff at the reception is friendly. I was especially happy about the kindness of the young lady, who was originally from Italy - she was both very kind and professional and immediately made me feel comfortable about the stay. The room and the bathroom were big enough and we liked the big shower space very much.
